Hojicha + Ginger

"Hojicha + Ginger" is a warm-flavored tea.

 

The roasted tea leaves we use are combined with roasted kukicha—twig leaves and stems—yielding a uniquely sweeter, earthy flavor and aroma.  Spicy ginger is added to yield a tea that is both sweet and spicy.

 

The addition of ginger also greatly enhances the health benefits of this tea combo.  Ginger has anti-inflammatory, analgesic, bactericidal, and gut health and regulation properties.

 

In particular, heated ginger has a component called shogaol, which dilates blood vessels and promotes blood circulation.  These effects plus the pyrazine in roasted green helps warm the body up to the core!

 

Hojicha + Ginger is an excellent combo tea for health-conscious individuals and for those sensitive to colder temperatures.
